I graduated from Belleville East High School, class of '92. Go Lancers! I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University, a Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a Masters in Education from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
While living in the Chicago area, I worked for Motorola, Inc. for 8 years as a Human Resource Specialist and later as a Marketing & Business Development Manager for the Motorola Employees Credit Union. Most recently, I've been working with middle and high school students. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and going to plays. I've been married for 10 years. My husband and I have three busy boys ages; one, three and nine.
